WHO WE ARE:

Warbirds & Jets was formed by Peter Bowers, former owner of the WACO Aircraft Corporation along with fellow Aviators and Business People.  Today, Peter and Team continue the tradition of providing discreet and professional services for the buyers and sellers of Jets, Warbirds, and other General Aviation aircraft.

Our reputation for finding the perfect aircraft for private clients, collectors and museums is renowned. We are continually discovering rare aircraft to meet collector's requirements, including examples from the dawn of aviation to the fighters and bombers of WWI & WWII, to classic biplanes and the best modern aircraft.

Leveraging decades of aircraft sales and brokerage experience and an unrivaled record of success, we will expose your aircraft to multiple highly qualified buyers to ensure that you get an offer that meets your expectations. Our comprehensive, start-to-finish services cover every aspect of aircraft sales, including advertising, pre-purchase inspection, contracts, final delivery, and arrangements for closing in a tax-favorable locale.
HOW DOES BROKERAGE WORK

Through the years we’ve refined our aircraft sales and brokerage services to make the transaction efficient and effective. Our process moves smoothly through a well-defined set of steps that includes:

1. Initial Preparation: Data Collection and Presentation Creation

We have your aircraft professionally photographed, generate a historical record for sales prospects to review, develop a specification sheet and sales brochure, and review the marketing plan with the customer.

2. Marketing Campaign

We advertise on our website, in print and digital media, directly reach out to prospective buyers, place the aircraft on multiple listing services, show the aircraft to buyers, keeping you well-informed throughout the process using direct communication and our special Deal Tracking web portal.

3. Evaluation and Offers

We qualify prospects, submit offers to you and provide input, prepare the offer letter response, prepare the purchase agreement and make recommendations, coordinate with the title company regarding the deposit, and consult with legal counsel as needed.

4. Escrow

All of our transactions are handled though a reputable title company who provide an independent third party service to monitor the sales process, hold the deposit, certified title searches, review all contracts, and handle all the FAA paperwork.

5. Pre-Purchase Inspection

We make arrangements for or help cordinate the pre-purchase inspection, monitor the inspection process, review the inspection report and make recommendations, handle the resolution of inspection issues with the buyer, and coordinate aircraft acceptance documentation.

6. Closing and Delivery

We prepare a closing checklist and documentation, assist with the International Registry, provide the necessary FAA title documents, coordinate the closing process with all parties, provide advice on closing issues, and coordinate aircraft delivery and acceptance documentation.

7. International Sales

In the case of international transactions, we coordinate every step in the process as well. This includes arranging for a customs broker, coordinating the de-registration process, managing containerization and shipping, and assisting with import/export requirements. The import, export and transportation of aircraft is a specialty that goes hand in hand with our dedication to providing the best in service to our customers.
